INSTALLATION GUIDE

CHECK YOUR DOOR FIT

Gather these details before ordering. They help us compare your existing door setup with Lockery Mini or Lockery Pro and identify where modification may be needed.

DOOR THICKNESS

Mini suits 35-60mm doors. Pro suits 40-120mm doors.

EXISTING LOCK TYPE

Identify whether you have a latch, deadbolt, mortice lock, or another lock body.

BACKSET MEASUREMENT

Measure from the door edge to the centre of the handle spindle or key cylinder.

DOOR EDGE PHOTO

Take a clear photo showing the latch or lock body, faceplate, and existing screw positions.

INSIDE AND OUTSIDE PHOTOS

Photograph both sides of the current lock, including handles, cylinders, and nearby trim.

DOOR MATERIAL AND TYPE

Tell us whether it is timber, aluminium, steel, a security door, or an apartment fire-rated door.

Security doors and apartment fire-rated doors may have additional hardware, certification, strata, building, or fire-safety requirements. Confirm approval and suitability before modifying these doors.

LAY OUT THE PARTS

Start by identifying the front and rear lock assemblies, the rear rubber sleeve, cylinder hardware, keys, lock body screws, limit spring, square drive rod, and battery components.

CHECK THE LATCH DIRECTION

The video shows the latch being reversed to suit door handing. Confirm the latch orientation for your door and make sure it springs back freely before continuing.

OPEN THE REAR BATTERY COMPARTMENT

Before mounting the lock, open the rear lock battery compartment so the rear unit is ready for cable routing and final assembly.

FIT THE LOCK BODY AND ALIGN THE SPINDLE

Install the main lock body into the door, then line up the square spindle and cylinder path so the front assembly can seat correctly against the door.

MEASURE AND TRIM WHERE NEEDED

The installation video shows measuring the square bar against the door and trimming excess length. It also shows cutting excess screw length when required. Measure carefully before cutting.

INSERT THE LIMIT SPRING AND CONNECT THE ASSEMBLIES

Place the limit spring into the rear lock square hole as shown, then route and connect the cable between the front and rear assemblies without pinching it.

MOUNT THE FRONT AND REAR LOCK BODIES

Bring the front and rear sections together on the door, align everything square, and secure the assembly using the supplied top and bottom screws.

TIGHTEN AND TEST THE HARDWARE

Fully tighten the mounting screws, then test the handle, latch action, and basic locking function before moving on to app setup and biometric enrolment.
