LOCKERY WARRANTY
What the two-year hardware warranty covers, how claims are assessed, and how to get help.
WARRANTY PERIOD
Lockery Mini and Lockery Pro include a 2 year hardware warranty from the original date of purchase.
Please keep your order confirmation or another valid proof of purchase, as we may need it to assess a claim.
WHAT IS COVERED
The warranty covers defects in the product's hardware, materials, or workmanship that arise during normal residential use within the warranty period.
Where a valid claim is confirmed, the available remedy may include technical assistance, replacement parts, repair, replacement, or another appropriate remedy depending on the issue and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes that do not affect operation, flat or depleted disposable batteries, lost keys or accessories, or damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, unauthorised modification, forced entry, water exposure beyond the product's intended conditions, power events, pests, or failure to follow supplied instructions.
It also does not cover damage caused by an unsuitable door, door movement, misalignment, pre-existing door or frame defects, or installation work that was not supplied or arranged by Lockery.
INSTALLATION ISSUES
Product hardware faults and installation workmanship are assessed separately.
If installation was supplied or arranged by Lockery, contact us and we will review whether the issue relates to the product, door conditions, or installation work. If you engaged your own installer, installation workmanship should generally be raised with that installer, while Lockery can still help assess a suspected product fault.
HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
Email info@lockery.com.au with your name, order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos or video showing the product, door, and problem where relevant.
We may ask you to complete reasonable troubleshooting or provide further information before a return is required. Do not remove or send the lock until we provide instructions.
CLAIM SHIPPING
If we ask you to return a product, we will explain the return method and who is responsible for shipping before it is sent.
For a confirmed fault or failure covered by Australian Consumer Law, Lockery will meet its applicable obligations for reasonable return or collection costs. If inspection shows the issue is not covered, any additional shipping or service costs will be discussed with you before further work proceeds.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict, or modify, any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You may also be entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
